Tips for getting vacation rentals Orlando‏

Verify that the rental agency or company has been in business for at least several years and has a good reputation
  • Customer service is very important, so call the company beforehand and talk to the representative. Some places don’t even have time to inspect the units between the rentals. Some don’t offer maintenance within the same day.
So check if the units are inspected, not just cleaned, between each renter, and what is their customer service if something goes wrong when you arrive or during the stay.
  • Check if the booking fee is required. Most management companies require some kind of deposit, but the percentage for the deposit changes depending on the company.
  • Request the confirmation with rental dates, amounts, additional fees and regulations in writing before hand.
  • Check with the agency which items are not included into the standard rental fee. What other additional options can be added. Are towels, utensils, sheets are included or not. Some companies do not provide towels, washing machine, dryer.
  • Get the cancellation policy in writing in case it’s needed.
  • Confirm the payment schedule and all the final amount due and dates.
  • Check who to contact in case of any questions or problems upon arrival or during the stay.
  • Check on the location of grocery stores, attractions, area restaurants, rental cars, or any other services or amenities that might be needed during the stay.
